Ferg, head for Monkstown (follow the signs for the cross river ferry if you get stuck) If you can't find the pier then, give us a call. My number is in the private board.

Boats are confirmed and are collecting from Monkstown pier at 9.30. To facilitate boat draws etc, all participants to be at Monkstown for 9am please.

Latecomers.... It is YOUR responsibility to phone (Texts can be missed) as soon as you know you're running late otherwise boats will leave without you. Take note of mine and JDs numbers from the private board in case this arises.

Outlook for a further 24 hours until 0600 Monday 17 September 2007: Strong southwest winds, gradually veering moderate to fresh west to northwest as a band of heavy rain moves southeastwards across the country and clears. Winds later becoming north to northwest.

i see strong winds forecast. I presume the trip is still on?

Enjoy lads. I was out in Galway Bay today and it got pretty lumpy, no comfort in fishing. Small craft warning in operation so I'd say you'll be in the harbour alright
