Report:
the club outing was meant to be held at Gurteen, but on arrival to the road that leads down to Gurteen it was obvious that (a)the carpark was full, and (b) the beach was packed.. the cars were literally parked all the way up to the main road with little space to pass and no space to park.. so after a quick decision we decided that it would be pointless to attempt the treck down to the beach, so back in the cars and off to little killary..

as for plan B.. (a) dogs bay and (b) off the rocks around from dogs bay..

Don't mention dogs went to Bantry, West Cork, with Philip and William Rice (wrice) on Sunday we caught a skip full of them.

ray dogs and flats.. but not in great numbers like gurteen can be..
its pretty much the same.. can fish either good or bad.. have heard the rocks fish good most of the time, but as mentioned i have never fished them..

finding accom might be hard.. most hotels might be booked out, plenty of b&b's around salthill
