Do you know something we dont John, Looks like you're preparing for a day on the sand.......??? :D

have spoken to skipper. We are expecting to get to the reefs offshore. No need to bring frozen mackerel, can pick up fresh easily. Some big bull huss and conger caught yesterday on mackerel at anchor. Might be worth bringing a few peeler to use when anchored up.

Fri May 25, 2007 10:56 am

we could also try for specimen wrasse...ragworm seems to be good if we decide to give it a go

Fri May 25, 2007 11:11 am

Aye, checked the forecast, aside from a shower or two we seem to be ok for tomorrow. Thank god.... The memory of that trip last winter where we spent the day in the estuary and had about a dozen fish all day for the boat hasn't gone away. Poulnasherry anyone..... :x We had some cracking pollack fishing over those reefs last autumn on the comp with trebles of 7lb plus pollack on occasion....
