Wanted to say thanks to everyone who gave me advice earlier in the week. I'm heading out to try Howth tomorrow, probably the East pier. Any last minute tips? I heard that there's a lot of snaggy groung to the seaward side. Was thinking of going for codling, whiting, flounder. Am I headed in the right direction? Loads of questions I know, sorry!!

Adam, I just saw your post. I've fished the East pier a lot during the summer and it can give large pollack, flounder and small plaice. I would be interested to hear how you got on on Friday.
