Hi Paul,
It holds sea trout, bass, flounder and mullet for sure, also mackeral around the mouth in the summer, try fishing the mouth of the channel for a flounder or bass in the summer/autumn time, crab and rag your best bet, some big fish taken here last year.

Have also heard it holds some Smoothound too...Have not heard any reports of from this time of year, as Lampoon said think its a Summer/Autumn venue but did here of decent Bass being caught until Nov last year!

Yea Rush south beach fishes well at the mouth of the estuary, and the estuary fishes very well during the summer months. Drumanagh cliffs fishes well enough at this time of year plenty of small whiten and dogs plus some decent codling but only at night. The old dump was a good spot but haven fished it in years. Dont normally go local for some reason mite try it at the weekend.

How do you get to the mouth of the estuary from the south beach in Rush as I don't think you can drive to it. Where are the cliffs you spoke about situated.
Thanks
