Snood Breaking strain!

Hey lads just wondering whats the lightest B/S snoods that you would consider useing, say just for scratching and light beachwork!

I think myself i would prob go as low as 5lb B/S if i wanted to go really light, most of the rigs i use are about 15-20 some 10 (not many) but i think i'll try using lighter though! Just wondering your opinions!
Cheers,
Al

I have personally never went below 12lb bs, I know there was a reason for it but its locked in the back of my mind somewhere, as for rocks the minimum I use is 30lb bs

between 8 and 20lb depending on weather and species, generally this is more than enough. might step up a bit on pulleys to 25lb.

I don't do much scratching and have only gone down to 15lbs on boom rigs. Use between 20lb and 30lb for most of my paternosters. I go stronger for my longer snoods aimed at rays. Have some pulleys with 30lbs for comps or when bites are slow but usually use between 60lb and 80lb but have still lost some good huss and ray.

8lb in fluro or maxima is about as low as I've went although usually fish around 11lb to 15lb. Thats all on clean beaches though
