10/10 - They come into their own on sandy beaches, you can literally run down the beach with your gear  , and weight is no longer an issue when deciding what tackle to put into your box.

Robert,

You mention "weight" on your trolley, with those wheels the weight just seems to disappear...here is why....I met the guy who invented the wheel in America and he told me how and why he invented them.

He owns a 25ft Catamaran and he didn't want to wait in line at slip-ways or have to depend on help to launch his craft. He started to play around with tires on wheels that could go anywhere...sand, shingle over concrete and tarmac....it took him about 2 years of hard slog before he got what he wanted....now he can take his Cat to any parking lot on a low trailer. Once off the trailer he can push his boat across dunes, beaches and into the surf to launch it by himself, on return he does the same, single handed. He made the point that the boat cart pays for itself in no time by saving slip-way fee's.

The trolley that you see is something of a by-product of its big brother, but none the less just as efficient...the carts look expensive but those Wheels/Tires are very costly to make...but they do everything they claim on the tin. There are many carts on the market far cheaper, but none that will do the job as efficiently as that one.

I have been using one for the last six months on all the beaches on the east coast shingle and sand and have found them to be the dogs bo****. I have a doggy leg and was finding it difficult to carry my gear for any distance, at the moment i draw double pegs with the young lad so i put a mountain of gear on the trolley i just glides over the soft sand. At the raheny competition in January just at the start of Kilgorman a young lass was practicing dressage on her horse the the beach looked liked it was bombed with mortars there was holes as big as your head i thought no way am i going to get over this! not a problem it flew over. I can recommend these trolleys and can safely say they will add years to my match fishing life.

anyone know how much they cost

The RRP in the UK is £199.00 so over here I think they are touching €300.00......someone said..."sounds expensive, but its about the price of a good rod and you cant always see the benefit in a rod, but you can always see the benefit of the trolley"

i would personally highly recommend them, the best buy i have made in years!
i always carry a ton of year (far too much!!!) but with the trolley i can now do that comfortably, plus if you add a bait station to them you can keep everything right beide you at your tripod irregardless of the movement in the tide....pull the trolley with all your gear in one hand, and use a leg lock kit on your ian golds tripod, and lift your tripod with rods on it all in the other hand all in one go....sorted!
