ye i have i spun the whole thing only caught small pollock but i didnt really give it a good inspection id say there are loads of areas that hold big pollock i fished right at the top of it in a boat before with red gills and we hammered the pollock out of it. we used to ancor right in close in some of the coves aswell at the back and fish with rag for wrasse. but id say if you were going to fish from the island be expecting to lose a lot of gear you could try float fishing or free lining for the wrasse and pollock.

Ive fished in a boat around the island and caught pollack to around 4 lbs. Never even set foot on the island but it gives fairly easy access to deeper water if you have a boat :D . Was thinking of doing some swff on it as the deep water would be a good help. Might try to get some wrasse on the fly there as well. Cheers Samo.

try close in at the back of the lighthouse island with black feathers ,when you do find the fish the seals will find you so real in quick .have had pollack up to 5lb , oh yea this is very rough ground i use braid with no leader so as soon as the weight hits a rough patch you feel it and can lift the rig out of danger (this is normally where the bigger pollock will be waiting to ambush bait fish) this area is well within reach of the island with lures 70 meters or less

Cheers for the info guys. Ive seen the seals there and they were looking very healthy so there must be something for them to eat :D . Wouldnt mind some of those pollack on a fly rod!

One of my dads friends dives around mugglins quite a lot and he see's loads of conger poking their heads out of the rocks so they are there.
