what is the crack with the flats ive never seen so many get caught during the winter in my life?

Seems to be plenty around samo. Hopefully they are not hoovered up in the not soo distant future. It would be nice to start getting a few decent sized fish on the East coast.

thats interesting because in some spots down here which would have been noted for producing flats there appears to be a shortage of them

Feck off Bradan, I move down to Cork and your wanting Lumpy to send the bass back up the coast :evil: I would think some of the bigger flounder will be heading of to spawn shortly :?:

You just concentrate on sussing out a couple of good bass marks for when I come down for a weekend!
