noticed some of the guys using them in the magazines as a rough ground rod, mark jones etc in wales using them to drag congers out of the ruff stuff etc

Friend of mine has one and it does the job very well, he swears by it and in his view is as good a rod as his two conoflex rods at far less money.

heard reports that they do soften after a while ,but i suppose for that money they cant be bad.cheers john

regards this rod, the biggest downside is the weight of the rod, way to
heavy, i know several guys who actually cut 8 inches from the butt, to
try and give them better balance, which it did, best suited to the high-
reel position,
all the best stevo.

being honest the weight of the rod wouldnt be my biggest worry consedering it'l be used for rough ground.maby i'l wait and fork out on an AA big beach or rock rod, oh the dilemma

while i rate the big beach as being a very good rod you may be better going with the rock rod,i had one in my hands but never got to cast it but i was impressed with it,looks to have very good bite detection and loads of power.cheers john

ive cast both of them and being honest thats my dilemma, feel that the big beach is powerful enough for the majority of my fishing, not certain tho.wont be getting one until aprol or may so ive plenty time to mull it over
