Accuweather (http://ukie.accuweather.com) have recently updated their site. Its well worth a look. You can specify locations quite accurately (e.g. Riverchapel, Gorey, Ireland).
Firefox users can also use the nifty ForecastFox extension (http://forecastfox.mozdev.org/) which puts a weather summary at the bottom of your browser window and gives you quick access to satellite images and forecasts.

Hi teacher
Do you know a site that gives tidal variations for beaches on the east coast between wexford and courtown?

No. I just use EasyTide and extrapolate between Courtown and Wexford. It's not ideal because of the odd neap tides around here but once you move away from neap, I think a linear extrapolation based on distance between Courtown and Wexford would be good enough. Probably get you within 15-30 minutes anyway.

Or..

Metcheck burned me big time last weekend. I got the report for Waterford on Saturday afternoon in work. It was forecasting  20mph winds on Sunday Morning upto 35mph for the afternoon and 45mph for the evening. How wrong they were. I got up a 3:30am and drove to Waterford to try for a Cod or maybe a late Bass. I tried several spot and all I got was 60+ mph winds all morning. I drove back to Dublin after trying to fish for a bit. Feckers, if they had of been even nearlly right I would have nearly killed myself traveling that early. I'll be trying some of the other site in the future.

I've been caught out by metcheck a couple of times too. Sometimes the predictions fail to update for a day or two, but unless you look at the last-updated time, there is no obvious warning that the forcast is days old.
I've changed to accuweather, or a combination of the two.

if you can learn to read a taf or metar from an aviation forecast it is by far the most accurate giving every aspect of weather.. wind, direction, times, duration, cloud cover and height and type... If you can be arsed

My Aul Man is in Avaition and I used to be able to get TAF reports by text for free. Now I have to pay for them and couldn't be bothered. Although, I wish I had of last weekend.
