Been a while since I had a chance to try for bass near portstewart/benone and now thats its getting colder is there any point?
I never caught one this year. Well in the past 4 months since i made my first rekindled attempts on benone etc. Its dark out there now at 5 and I am considering heading down with rag to the portstew beach for some nigth stuff or from the harbours. Are plaice and flunder still around?
I really have no idea how the temperature affects these thinsg exactly and the movments of species.
What could I expect to get out there now night time beachcasting or harbour fishing with rag, apart from a runny nose!?
Or is there any other place up here or method I should focus on for results with other species?
ANY advice appreciated.. I just wanna catch something!
