Bailey lighthouse

Have fished this place a bit during the summer bit the cliffs are pretty dabgerous just wondering has anyone fished it at nightime?? or were would be the best place to fish at night in howth??

have fished on the lefthandside at night. never fished very well. fish low water up. early in the morning is as good. should get trebbles of fish at this time of year. pout, cod, coalies, whiting, dab, dogs...depends on the day!

you could try howth harbour east pier, good conger there now. high water on righthandside.

Sounds good, although small whiteing become very annoying this time of year especially when all ya want is a nice codling. I might give it ago later on see can i pick something up

which is the east pier? is that the pier with the small lighthouse?

or is that the pier beside the fish shops (wrights ect)

longer pier is east pier i think?? no shops on it! lighthouse at the end. rough ground, usually better fishin. good pollack fishin at times. some good ones too 5lb.+ prob a bit late for em now though...

yeh that lighthouse throughs up good pollock alrite...3/4 pound is the heaviest iv got...i was out there yesterday and got a nice whiting though...

sorry i made a mistake. the conger are on the shorter pier which i pressume is the west, on righthandside(fishin just inside the harbour). good fish there. u'd want heavy gear 4 em though.
