Daiwa is pretty good - they'll probably send you a replacement ring free of charge; they did me when I needed a new tip ring for a spinning rod. As opposed to Shimano who have yet to sort me for a new section/tip ring for a stand-up boat rod.
Cut through the epoxied whipping and take off the old ring, whip on the new and epoxy the whipping.

Hi ghost,
The ceramic ring can not be replaced without replacing the whole ring - Belfast Angling Center replaced a ring on one of my beachcasters and did a great job of it. Only cost anout £8 including the ring :D
Which ring is it that broke? Was it the tip ring - they can be changed at home in about 2 mins.

If it's the tip eye replace it now. Any other eye replace it when the fish start to complain.

happened to my tip tornado lite 11'10" . .was sick as a parrot as its a middle ring insert that fell out.
think i am gonna leave it on the rod an djust check the ring without the insert for rough edges etc after each trip.
i reckon if the metal is not chipped or rough where the liner used to be it'd be ok . . .i may be wrong . .
:-)

Probably best to get it replaced, you'll end up doing it sometime anyway. It won't cost much to do it, and most tackle shops would be able to do the job for you fairly cheaply. If the rod set you back a few quid, then it's worth having it fixed properly.
It's possible that the metal might damage the line also. It's not worth losing the fish of a lifetime over - you'd be sick as a parrot!
