Hey there folks. A friend is going to Tralee for the weekend. he plans to do some fishing. Where would you reccomend a beginner go. A deep water venue would probably be more suitable??? Thanks folks

Fenit pier? plenty of deep water but not alot of fish try spinning its not as boring .....

Blackrock just north of banna carpark fish it a high tide

the bluepool 30 to 45 min walk from banna carpark walk south if your friend wants to dig lug and go after flounder. I've also seen people spinning for mackeral there at high tide.

Barrow harbour low tide access to the best marks complicated by the fact there is a stoopid golf course in you way :) but you can get away with walking through it if you conduct yourself properly. oh, theres also quick sand

can be worth the risk sometimes.

perhaps Fenit pier might be the best bet for a beginner fish it around high tide ideally flat calm don't bother getting out of the car if the wind is from the north.

does the friend have a car?
