Cisco,
Access to the pier would be your problem. You would have to be a resident of the holiday centre. The little bay has flounders at times. There are bass around that area as well. Out point to the right of the pier will produce bass, pollack and wrasse. I've had sea trout while trolling the area as well.
Jim.

Hi Cisco, I have tried 2 years ago, when i was down with the family for about 2 hours with worm & lures but no joy, was very surprised as i thought might have been a fairly virgin mark.

Hello all, I live not to far from there and to be honest I must admit if one is willing; then one is rewarded. I have heard alot of positives about this mark by locals that are 'willing', may i suggest that a review of the map is requred and a brass(not bass) neck. this link should help

Hey lads, while on the 'Trabolgan' area, I have spent a lot of time passing & nights out in Whitegate, which looks a good mark, has anybody any experience here and if so care to share any info??

Whitegate drys out. If you could get to the ESB station outflow it would be worth a go. The Pier at lower Ahgada can be popular. If near Trabolgan then White bay would be worth a chuck as would Roches Pt.

Try Corkbeg strand nearby, good for thornies and the odd bass
