Hi Guys, Just wondering if anyone has used the fladen warbird 12ft multiplier beach rod... It seems a good rod for the price its got, 70-80 sterling (veals)
I know there reels are poor but going to spend more on the reels penns or abu
But I have Been told the rods shoot away above there price range. Ans sea angler review seemed to like them and fladen rods do seem to get good press write ups in general.
I know alot will poo poo this rod as name and price may suggest but if anyone has or uses one please let me know your thoughts. Iam on a small budget and looking something half good that will last 2 seassons until i can save for better. Thanks in advance..

Hi there i got 2 off these about 7 mnths ago have only used about 5 times as fish light gear more.
As for rods do the job well and not having cast many other rods seem fine to me. I have learnt that its down to technique in casting, yes rods play a part but if you dont learn to cast may as well use a boat rod from the shore. If to get you into multipliers the rods good buy as they are tuff as old boots and will take abuse.
great on rough stuff i use a slosh with it of rocks and can pull any fish out of a hole.
I got to get me started and this year with help from forum members plan to learn to cast and then see if i want to move onto another brand. If you have this in mind go for it they do what it says on the tin.

they are a good decent all round rod with plenty of backbone.

Hi Ian,
I bought 1 of these rods a while back and have to say it's excellent.
I use mine for rock work and have never had any issues with lack of power or casting ability.
Geat value for money that won't break the bank. It also comes with a reducer but no coasters. I would advise getting a slidy reel seat in stead.
Hope this helps.
