Howth Help. (Please read this and reply.)

I was thinking of fishing in Howth on Saturday. Is there anything out off the piers at the moment?? If you know, please reply. Cheers

Don't know about Howth, but someone around here must know. How about it lads, help this guy out?

There should be a few pollack around the long pier by now towards the end of it on float fished rag or mackerel strip cast seaward. Another 2 - 3 weeks the first mackerel start to show in patchy numbers around the area too.

Fished on the pier a few times last year,once around this time and twice around August time,fishing was very poor,not even a bite,there was 1 Mackerel caught in August,thats about it.It's not like it was years ago,especially where the Macks are concerned,next time I'm out that way I'll go to Balscadden.
