Newry river mullet

I realise they are there in Carlingford Lough but does anyone know how far up they run the river? I'm on the hunt to catch one from County Armagh :D

They will go as far as it’s tidal anyway ,just look for the fish and chuck in plenty of bread

Hi Jim it’s Colin from ring pier last Friday,hope to go down and have a look at newly canal in next couple of weeks if I find anything out will let u know

Thanks, I'm aware of their habits and feeding but just keen to know of any likely spots in Armagh; I've been there a few times and didn't see any. Looks like access is difficult on parts of it so any specific knowledge would be helpful.
