Hi all!
I'm going to give Mullaghmore a try tomorrow, best way to enjoy my day off!
I read here and there about some marks, but couldn't find any recent post about it.
I've been told from a guy in Sligo that some good spots are:
- directly from the harbour, facing the beach (check link below to see what he meant)
- Mermaid's Cove
- Milk Haven Estuary
I'm targeting flounders/flatfish, using a 3 hook flapper rig with size 1 hooks, and mackerel as baits (meh, can't find lugworms at the shop, nobody's supplying lately).
Any tips about rig/marks are truly appreciated!
Thanks!

I would go with smaller hooks for flat fish - 2s or 4s

Mermaids cove can be very hit or miss. Best mark on the beach is at the stream. It's a long walk but worth it. Small mackerel strips on a 3 hook flapper size 4 hooks. No need to blast it out, the flatties feed in close. Tight lines.
