The Lions Head (Howth) Report

Postby Gonzo » Mon Mar 23, 2020 3:19 pm

Date: 23/02/2020
Time Fished: 10:00-13:00
High tide: 11:15
Bait: Spinners and sidewinders.

Hey guys,

Sorry I have to post here as I don't have permission to view or post in the reports section.

Went to the Lions Head in Howth today spinning for pollack, and that is a crazy ass cliff to scale down to the mark, anyway it's still probably too early in the season for them as I didn't feel a single bite. I threw on a sidewinder bloodhead for a bit to see if that would maybe get a bite but nothing on that either. Maybe I'll have better luck next time!

Peace
Gonzo

Hi Gonzo, sorry to hear about the blank, I was wondering if you could tell me if you park close by and walk to the mark, or do you access it from the cliff walk?

That day I parked on a little residential road that has a little alleyway/path down to it.

Here is where I park on google maps: https://www.google.com/maps/place/53%C2 ... -6.0613734

Here is the streetview of the entrance to the lane: https://www.google.com/maps/@53.3657905 ... 384!8i8192

Here is a little diagram of the path down to the mark: https://i.imgur.com/d5hMVLv.png
