yes, near the rockpools at the church end would throw up bass, pollack and even ballen wrasse in a decent surf years ago.
There is also a rock swimming mark on the road past Liscannor called Cloughans which is good for rock fishing but don't do that near the steps as people will get upset with you if you leave hooks or lures behind you! The shingle beach past the rock pools is an option too.
Finally there is the estuary on the beach side of the bridge, which used to hold salmon, sea trout and marauding bass in times past... and would have flounder and the odd plaice further out. Lugworm was an excellent bait in my youth. You will need to survey it at low water and fish it on the flood into darkness and do not wade there are there is a large patch of quicksand. No joke, there really is...
If you have very low water conditions, right in front of the town used to be good when the rocks were exposed by storms. They often got covered from one year to the next but were good for bass pollack and whiting in darkness in the first hour of the flood. You need long tide tables (distance between broken waves) for Lahinch to fish well for the silver ones. Catch and release these days... GL
