Hi Guys
I’m new here and generally new to Sea shore fishing,My question is has anyone had any success from markers around Dublin?
I have been to Howth Skerries and Poolbeg with a huge crab my only success.
Interested to hear others success or la k of.
Thanks for the add.

Howth Harbour has plenty of Whiting. Dogs and the chance of a hound or 2 at Telegraph pole at Red Rock. Decent Pollack at LionsHead but you'll need a drop net, Bass at the Sutton end of Bull Island, I haven't had any luck at Poolbeg in a year, most of my fish there were on spinner, there are tonnes if grey mullet in the estuary and up the Tolka river

Been there twice and just seem to keep losing gear.
As I said new to this so I’ll keep trying learning and losing.

You will get smoothounds around now from poolbeg and malahide using peeler fishing an incoming tide preferably into dusk pennell paternoster or pulley with grip leads all you need ... south Dublin beaches like killiney will throw up flats wrasse doggies etc ...
