Glasgow Angling Centre to a handy rucksack/seat, the seat folds out of the back of the rucksack and saves you carrying your gear and a seat seperately.

A really nice one is 14.99 from Argos. Around page 36 or so, there is a folding armchair - it is a bit heavy if your having to hike a while though, but if your close to the car it would be good. Even has a cup holder for your beer!

Tool-box from DIY store. Cost just a few euro. They have plenty of capacity for gear and have strength to sit on as they are constructed for use as a low saw bench too. I use one for beach and boat.

Camping store do a decent folding seat. Its bout 1ft square and doubles as a cooler bag which hangs below. Has cross jointed legs so folds neatly. Bout €10 in Millets, or the like.

Get yourself a shakespere seatbox and fit it with a breakaway seatbox conversion (back rest and harness)

Well the good thing about using a seat box and conversion jobby is that when you've had your fill of fishing you can just lob it all in the box and go for a pint (or wait for your mate to get all of his gear put away. And, if it don't fit in the boot stick it on the back seat!
