Hey lads anyone know anywhere one might have some luck for a tope north of Dublin towards Clogherhead looking to go out for a fish tomorrow and just bang out a second rod in hope of one any messages would be kept private cheers

Hi Roryk11. Carlingford lough /Boyne estuary seems to the best area but mainly from the boats see hear = Deep Sea Angling: Deep sea charter boats based in Carlingford and Dundalk. Species caught in this area are, tope, ray, dogfish, spurdog, cod, whiting, flatfish, pollack, conger and mackerel. The highlight of this area is the excellent tope fishing from July to September. 27 tope caught in one days angling on one boat recently. This was taken from the.www.fishinginireland.ie site maybe you can get some info in it on shore fishing for Tope up your way

Thanks mick went up yesterday hooked into one and lost it me and the next door neighbour couldn't believe the bend in the rod lost it though
