come on now troops,surely a bit of wind & scattered snow showers isn't gonna confine you lot to barracks.iv'e had enough of watchin what the wife wants to watch on telly.come hail,snow,or blow,i'm back out tomorrow evening.maybe give D DEE a chuck,keep you posted. maybe that 8lb pollock has made it's way round from Bangor. !!!

Never mind light gear. Two rods, a rest, 4/0 penel pulleys with 6oz lead pulling loads of rays over the mixed ground. Magic

really anything!
a smoothy and a bass would be nice from the beach
and another on the wish list would be a blackmouth dogfish or a sea bream of any description and spotted rays and brill from the boat.

I'm looking forward to discovering what's available to catch in my favourite spots of west Connemara, thanks to SAI now I suspect there may be more there than gunner (ie. rock biting wrasse) in there!!

looking forward to a 12 lb plus ray from the beach in spring and a 20 lb plus smoothie in the summer, going for a few personal best's this year hopefully. maybe bat my 12 1/2 lb bass, that would be great.

A Salmon from the local river (ok, not a sea angling ambition but nearly1 :D ), a Donegal Bass, and a Porgie shark or Blue Fin Tuna from Phenwick Mist's boat.
