Rod recommendation.....

Hey all,
I've decided that it's time to put the hand in the pocket and look to get a new rod, I'm looking for something around the €100 mark and a reel to match also around the €100....so altogether my budget will be around €200. I'm looking for a rod that'd be good from the beaches and large piers...maybe 14 to 16ft and can throw 4-8oz....I don't really have a clue where to start with the rod but I have a fair idea about the reel....

Any recommendation?...
Thanks

Hmm that's an interesting one.I would think that you could get a Penn Rampage for near that price-they are meant to be very good. Apart from that I wouldn't be certain . . .

On the reel id go for a shimano speedcast/ultegra/aerlex etc. Or a Penn affinity.

The shakespeare agility range or Penn rampage be a good bet on the rod front. I've 14ft Penn regiment which is the same, more or less.

Great rod and will send you lead out a good way with easiest of casts
