Changing rods fixed spool

Hey lads I'm just a novice myself but have Been having great fun with matches and a club currently using a rovex tideline 12ft it was on the cheaper side just to start out gonna keep it for scratching and feel I've hit a bit of a wall in casting with it so I am lookin at a new rod been told to look at a triplex but would like to hear from people about any other decent rods for otg or overhead casts on fixed spools

If you do otg or overhead thump a 13 to 14 foot will do the job in fact a slightly stiffer 14 footer will prob get you futher than a 15 or 16 foot rod .

Cheers bud had a go of a six and bait last week I think I'm in love was a 14 ft fixed spool felt nice to cast with and distance was exactly what I wanted price ain't bad either if anyone has one I'd love to hear any pros cons to them
