Hello there Al, I'd say mussels and rag would be fine. Lug on its own (my preferance at this time of year) works well here too. Its handier to dig than rag at this time of year also. Your most likely to encounter small flounder, coalies and rockling with the outside chance of an early schoolie. Floating beads seem to work well here too.

Hey seaniebo thanks for the reply, thats great thanks! I dont think i'll have time to dig for lug, I have to buy some bits and bobs anyway so do you think that i should be able to get some in Rorys or ABC or anything?
Cheers

I'm comin back on the 7th of March and i plan to go down on the 11th just before i have to go back!I'm really lookin forward to it, i haven't been out since August.(Well on the sea anyway)
I'll be back for three weeks in April though n i plan to get a good bit in then.
P.s is that Henrys in Ballybock? and is there much point of me fishing from the actual bull island over the wooden bridge (never seen anyone fish there before)
Cheers for your help,
AL

Yeah Henrys in Ballybock. The strand over the bridge is as good a spot as any. There might be a few flounder of decent size making their way back by then if your lucky. Might be about meself so ill drop down for a cast if I can.
