Galway bay tope? boat slips galway bay

Planning on dragging my boat down to galway can anyone help me on best slip to use planning on fishing for tope in the bay any help be great or a pm thanks

Kinda a big bay steve...

From recollection of my days in Clare, there's not a lot of a decent slip ways - it might have changed.
I remember launching a lot of beaches and heavy ramps of sand near piers.

There's a couple of places to look for: -

Rinville East and Ballincourty (crap road) are both south west of Oranmore
Parkmore and New Quay are on the southern shore, heading for Ballyvaughan

Avoid Mulroog, opposite Parkmore where we launched off a shingle beach and killed ourselves trying to get back in...

As far as I remember, there's a slipway in the main Galway harbour from Salthill side (just at the end of the pier). I'm not sure how water would be at low tide. There may be others...
