Spinning and bait fishing for pollock

I'm going to be taking spinning gear for the pollock in Beara , soft eels and fire tails, also going to deep spin frozen eels .
What bait would you use for bait fishing with a popped up bait about 3 foot off the bottom at night?
Also what rigs do you use for popping baits off the bottom?
