Hi guys New to your site some good stuff on here .i have a question .i live in the us and am a native of bantry co cork .i will be in that area around the first 10 days of April and would love to do some shore fishing for species other than mackerel but cannot seem to find too much info around on that area .i know a few spots from when I was a teenager but left there at 18 so never really explored the area for species other than Mack's and pollock .just looking for any info or help with this as my trip will b brief and won't have much time to explore blindly .any recommendations would be a massive help . Thanks guys and tight lines

The airstrip in Bantry will get you dogfish, huss and thornback ray. Fish about 50yds to the right of the car park. Mackerel and sandeel will do fine for bait.
