thornbacks in march

Mon Feb 29, 2016 7:32 pm

Hi lads.would it be to early to go after rays in march on the west coast? (Clew bay). I catch them on several marks during the summer up until the end of July at which point they seem to head out into deeper water. But I haven' ffished tthese marks In spring

There were a few ray about on that beach in early Feb. From memory I had at least two during the west coast shore league match. It was mainly dogs but there were ray about. I have had them there as early as the end ofJanuary.
