Cork/Kerry?

Managed to get a few days off and have a 5 year old who wants to go camping and fishing and I am thinking of heading down cork and Kerry
Two species I want to try get are stingray and sea bass after that a few species might be nice
Looking for a spot where the young lad would get a good few fish as well
Any information would be most welcome

glenbeigh/rossbeigh in Kerry camp and fish around there then go to banna strand think that's how to spell it for stingrays. bass at first spot on lug or crab on in coming tide kells might give u a bit of variety

Thanks for that coamlaja down in fenit going to fish the bridge for awhile and will try banna strand during the night

Fished down that way in the 1st. weekend of July with SAI. Plenty of mackerel on the road bridge in Fenit.
If there is no ship at the outer part of the pier the gates should be open but they do close at night.
Fished out there with gordyh and he had this beauty.

Thanks Donal I was in fenit last night loads fishing but not many catching,only a odd mackerel,I headed out to banna strand and did a hr with the young lad and he got a flounder And I blanked
Fished from 7:00 to 8:30 this morning and had 1 flounder
Going the head south from Tralee now and see where I end up

Forgot to finish this report
After Tralee we headed out towards dursey island to a spot that I was told was good for rock pooling
We got loads of wrasse some of them I could not id and I saw a fish in a rock pool which has me totally confused
It was about 2cm long and grey and it was fast and it was on it own and it was swimming at the surface with the top fin breaking the surface like a shark would
Any ideas what it could be?
We got a few small conger in the rock pools but then spotted the daddy conger grabbed the rod and put on a tope trace and had him on the pier in 10 mins and he measured 184cm


After that we set up camp and the next day we headed south down to lough hyne to have a look because I heard that they counted 72 species of fish in it
I know it is a nature reserve and you can't remove flora or fauna from it but can you fish it if you are returning every fish,I didn't spot any no fishing signs
After that we headed to courtmacsherry and tried fishing along the beach and the pier but gave up fast because of the weed
No bass or sting ray but can't complain with the conger,I will definily head down

Any more suggestions or updates on spots for camping/fishing in the soutwest. After pretty much blanking this weekend we are Planning on a camping trip for next weekend.

I was out the Dingle peninsula today started in fermoyle
hour before low dropped back to stradbally fished first three hours of the tide and the baits were coming back I'n the exact same as they went out

Swapped sides of the peninsula and went to inch for last two hours of the tide and caught one small flounder and last cast I got a bass around 3.5lb , I was glad to see him after a tough day

I can't reply to pms yet I don't have enough posts but for the person who asked I drove down the beach about half way just watch the surge from the tides you can be pushed back onto the soft sand it's tricky then if you are in a car
