Hi, Does anyone know what Kerrykeel fishes like? and how to get to it from Belfast
I've heard it's supposed to be good for Thornies etc but only on certain tides etc.
Is there a pier that you fish off to get into deeper water?

ive fished kerrykeel a number of time and had some good rays off it too best ray ive heard off it was 16lb....personally my best of it is 7lb and its also littered with doggies....its hard to get a ray without a doggie grabin your bait first.....its a strange venue for rays cause its really shallow bout 10ft at high tide but its a good venue from april to late september don't know what it fishes like at this time of year...

Doubt you'll get much there this time of year. Heard a few guys from Bangor? were down recently and blanked. Second hand info, so maybe not that reliable.
It is doggie heaven in the summer - even I can catch them....
