Hi folks
Looking forward to going after a few smoothhound this year and could do with any help available. Im living in Dublin at the mo and have fished down ringsend way a few times last year for the hounds with very limited success and also had my car broken into... but I hope to improve my fishing a lot this year catch some better fish, I'm hoping to try a few east coast beaches and am wondering how to go about it all eg best rigs/baits/mrks/tides and also when do they usually arrive on the east coast any help would be greatly appreciated.

on a good year they will start to show around dublin from the end off may and a pennel pully with a 3/0 set up is best and crab all the way for bait but you will get them on a few others like king rag, lug, and i have had them on razor if u want i will pm you nearer the time and show u ropes when i am heading out for them if u want
