Hi lads, with the big tides this weekend I went razor picking for the up & coming bass fishing. Had 140 in 1.5 hrs.

They get put in plastic sealed bags with me in 5s or 6s then rolled up in the bag and a small bit of tape in the middle and popped in the freezer so when im going fishing il just take a wrap or 2 of them

I've been using razor as a bait for a while now, dogfish and bull huss love it as do flatfish , whiting and cod on occasion.
I never used it for bass , I have done very little bass fishing in the past to be honest,
I'm guessing a pulley pennell would be the best way to present it as a bait but how much should I use and should i use a grip weight or allow it to roll.
any advice at all would be great, I've already done the leg work for marks and I still have a decent stock of razor in my freezer from last years collecting, I just need to figure out what rigs to use now.
cheers

Hi dave i mainly use running ledger type rigs with this for bass and 2 hook flappers with long snoods, i always use grippers in 4 and 5oz but you could use plain leads if you can get away with it i get 2 baits from 1 razor an just enough elastic to hold it on
