Hi lads, have some time off at the beginning of next month a was wondering is it still worth while making the trip down. Weather permitting I would be heading down and fishing a few of the estuary marks in daylight and fishing through the night on the strand. Am planning the trip for the 6th of February. Does the area still fish around that time if conditions are right? Not looking for marks just a bit of local knowledge if I'll be wasting time, energy, fresh crab etc!
Thanks in advance

Dead right Roger! Peeler ordered today so I'm committed either way.

BUMP!
Heading down tomorrow morning with a bit of a plan hatched. If anyone local has any info on anywhere fishing well at the moment a pm would be very welcomed.
Cheers

I haven't fished there in 2 months but wherever you end up either the beach, ferry point , the greenpark or the carpets pier try to be there an hour before low water and fish the rising tide.
I believe there's a few decent whiting to be had .
best of luck
