Best places to fish all depend on the weather and without the use of a crystal ball and having no faith at all in the various long range weather forecasters it would be best to give me a call closer to the date and i can give you the latest news and hopefully might even join up for a session if you want company. Home number is 027 60330.

Hi Paul, thats a friend of mine, he has introduced me to the curse that is known as angling over the past couple of years, I just need to master the catching part now........
my bEtter half lives in templenoe so I have been fishing off the pier thhere also in kenmare, cush strand and blackwater. No greaat joy at any of them, also off the rocks by kenmare bridge, told it was a great mark, just lost a heap of tackle but I will blame myself for most of this, due to lack of experience.
I was told yesterday of a good mark near star foods, any input?

Hi Maurice, The best of the fishing is waiting for the summer months but there are still a few fish to be caught at this time of year. Cush Strand is a good mark for bass and best bait would be either peeler crab or lugworm. Always worth having a spinning rod with you there and a shallow diving or popper lure.
Never fished any marks around Star foods so cannot help you there but come the spring I will be going out and trying some new marks around there and would be happy for a bit of company if you wish to join me.
Give me a call around end of march and we will arrange to meet up.
best wishes. Paul
