Cod

Well lads, I'm seeing pictures of decent sized shore caught cod on all the usual uk sites, just wondering if anyone on the forum has had any themselves?

I'm not looking for marks or reports or anything like that just wondering if anyone has caught a cod yet this year or if it's all codling at the moment.

Feel free to add a picture of your best one of the year mine has been about a pound and a half

My best so far this last month or so is a fish just over 4lb from Ferrypoint.

Great fish Donal, that probably is the bigger question, what's your opinion on it? I'd say anything from 3lb up but I live in meath and get excited by anything over 40cm so my judgement is clouded at best.

I've had a few up to 1lb in Antrim, only been out twice so far however.
