Mermaid purse Id needed.?

Found this on the shore , it's the biggest one I've seen . Wonder what species came out of it. I've looked up shark trust but none look like this. Any ideas ?

that looks absolutely nothing like a thornback ray casing in relation to the image of the thornback ray casing on the sharktrust website.
for starters a thornback ray casing does not have a the curly tendrils, and a thornback casing is flattened and square in shape

i think that its definitely a bull huss eggcase

a skate eggcase would be bigger than your hand - and flat and square.. (like all ray eggcases)

its a buss huss eggcase in your picture

Defo not a skate purse have a look on the Tralee bay sac facebook page to see a skate purse absolutely massive, there was a few found in Tralee bay this year, please god they survive..
