Sorry do most of my in east cork and I'm too lazy to go lure fishing
A few things that might help

http://maps.osi.ie/publicviewer/#V1,551517,540968,5,0 use the compass on the top left hand corner to navigate around the map. That beach is Broadstrand in my time fishing that area (years ago) it was a dog pound.

Dan Lynch in The Halfway Angling Centre 00353 86 3357334 might be able to help with some fresh crab and rag give him a ring or email halfwayanglingcentre@eircom.net order in advance is the safer bet. there is a big competition on Saturday so he may not have bail until Sunday or Monday
Dan would have anglers coming into the shop that might have info on the area.
http://goo.gl/maps/fWN4q you'll pass it on the way to courtmac.

Enjoy.
