Tubing with caps

Sun Aug 17, 2014 4:14 pm

Hey guys

Have a question and I'd be pretty sure someone on the forum would know the best idea. I'm looking to get some cheap tubes with caps for transporting rods. 4 foot and 5 foot rods. Anyone know where I could get a bargain?

A carpet shop might have some after they used a role of carpet.

110mm sewer pipe = +/- €15
McGuiver style ends 2 x sewer stopper = €8
+ a couple of cable ties and self tappers per use
or
Fancy: 2 x screw on ends = €20-€30

Sign printers hoof out loads of thick 5ft cardboard tubes, they're the inside tubes of the rolls of vinyl. ask nicely and they'll give you a few.
then just seal one end with gaff tape or whatever, and the other simply with the towel you're using for that session
