Fishing near Mullaghmore

Any tips or marks for fishing near Mullaghmore Harbour would be greatly appreciated. Heading up for a couple of nights with herself and have the rods packed just in case  Hopefully the weather will play ball  Any fishing/bait shops nearby?

the harbour is good for minis both off the old arm to the north and the pontoon on the southern/western arm
casting off the back will get you dogs, whitefish

on the beach its flounders and coalies can be in plague proportions

further up north at mermaids cove there is more mixed ground either side of the small beach - loads of potential

or you could be lazy and walk onto streedagh and get dogs flats and chance of silver

Some good conger and mullet on the longer pier just down by the steps. Mermaids good but Tullan strand in bundoran is the best spot round here. It's a bitch of a walk down from the carpark but well worth it. Drop into Sean in land and sea sports in bundoran for the best local advice or give us a shout when your coming up and I'll try to put ya right.
