Hi guys,I'm heading to trabolgan next week,have never been down that way before.can anyone tell me how its fishing at the moment or what I might expect to catch.any help really appreciated. Hope to try get a few mackerel if there in and some beach fishing too.cheers

Try Roches point come out of Trabolgan turn down left and follow the road to a dead end you can get pollock wrasse mackerel and bass or fish the beach whitebay carpark halfway down the road to Roches point

Great shop and Paul is a gent to deal with. Hes only open in the evenings tho, 7-10 and 2-6(i think) on saturdays.

Guileen and Inch are very close(come out of trabolgin and turn right)for flounder,pollock and bass , roaches point can be fished for conger, rockling , wrasse and pollock with the odd mackerel thrown in.
Ballycotton pier is a good option if you are bringing kids with you, plenty of dogfish to them occupied.
You can fish in the holiday park also for pollock and wrasse.

Sorry for the late reply,I fished the pier at the back of golf course twice but caught nothing. Have a chat with Clinton the security guard.he's the lad with the pony tail. He regularly catches bass from that pier.
