how goes it all? thought i'd try this new technological age stuff to ask a burning question of mine. does anybody have any advice /ideas as to were to dig for lugworm /rags around the north coast? Branched out into Beach fishing and would luv :D being able to gather some safely and not threatening stocks. Also is there any means of gathering cockles for bait again in the local area and are these any good for various species.
any advice appreciate it. :P

after a good rough sea just nip down to the beach and scout around, normally a good lot of cockles etc washed up, these work well for the flounder here at times like this.
for lug worm you would be best to try a few of the places in and around lough foyle - just go look for the casts!

:) Thanks for the info as hav to take the dog for a walk along the Foyle, with ball and spade in hand. Have to get map out to check for close enough roads when back home as fancy taking my fishing up a level. Probably won't catch anything more, just perhaps maybe bigger ones!!! I know you can get some baby rags or maddies down the bann, but only certain places which the flukes go nuts for.

Keep your eyes on that pitchfork or one may get sore feet!!
