ok i have visa stamped for a couple of sessions for friday 22 and Saturday 23 Feb. Will be travelling from north east coast down to Cork.
i am bringing the beachcasters with me so am i mad? with this shitty weather at the moment is there anything worth targeting.
I have only ever fished cork once, Youghal band stand at christmas so any and all advice welcome.
i am not expecting specific marks but advice on bait / trace / general areas / potential species would be much appreciated
I hope to get some fresh crab for the trip so if anyone knows a good source in Cork and is willing to share then great.
thanks in advance...

Busy weekend down in youghal area 21st and 22 feb with the world shore fish offs taking place so locating fresh crab could be difficult unless ordered well in advance.

Cork: Longest coastline in Ireland.
Will you be in East Cork or down west
Have you any venue in particular you plan to fish.
I'm having some good fishing down east at the moment and get 90% of the fish on lug.
I might be hitting that spot again Monday or Tuesday weather looking good at the moment.
I'll stick up a report.

Ok avoid Youghal for fishing but i might go for a look to see what is happening. only new to sea fishing so a good place to pick up some advice.
Donal - i have no place in particular in mind and as i said i am driving from Dundalk down so an extra hour in any direction wont hurt by any means. are you fishing beaches or estuaries as i am led to believe that estuaries may not be the best due to large volume of fresh water. I will keep an eye out for the report
thanks
