Anybody know how this area is fishing at the moment or the rosslare area

I'm now an infrequent visitor to that neck of thew woods, but over the years I've caught very little off the pier - the odd doggie.
I have picked up a few bass off the beach in front of the mobile home park though when a surf has been up.
You really need to fish at night in that neck of the woods, never found that whole area to fish well during the day. Youre also probably better off hitting the coombe beach rather than the pier IMHO, it's only 5 minutes down the road.
