directions, best approach, waterfoot/glenariff

whats the best way to waterfoot/glenariff from portrush - via ballycastle and the coast
or via ballymoney and the glens?

dont think it would make much difference mate, the main A2 road (coast road) would be easier, imho anyway

If you take the coast road, Bushmills/Portballintoy/Ballycastle ? you will see some amazing views and potential fishing spots. But its a long slow oul drive.
Otherwise the fastest way is to drive up to Ballymena and take the A43 straight to Rebay/Waterfoot, no messing about.

lol, got ya now man. if you had of been up at waterfoot on sunday i was gonna pop by as we might be up that way

would agree with Fedstar and Cathalad there Brian..
theres no easy way round it i.e. its 6 of 1, pretty much the 'same' journey and not much in it
id go the coastal route myself personally too, you should be ok at this time of year regarding traffic along that way, i hope. yip, more scenic too
the other way (ballymoney-ballymena-waterfoot) may be possibly slightly handier - more direct and better roads - but it is longer in distance... and, the 'short-cut' over the mountain and through the countryside (ballymoney-cloughmills-newtown crommelin-waterfoot) can be a bit messy.
