The Ladys Slip in Tramore you can expect coalfish, the odd whiting with a decent chance of a bass as the water is still relatively warm for this time of year. Use fresh lug or crab for the best results. Fish it 2 hrs before and 2 hrs after low water, that has served me well recently.

The peir throws up some conger but i have no experience of fishing there.

hope this helps, good luck and let us know how ya get on.

so it's only good at low tide not at high tide

It just seems to fish best around those times before and after low water varadero, but it fishes quite well just before and just after high water as well. Its the mid tide that i find least productive.

The pier can produce good conger and huss as the ground is rough and you can expect to leave a few rigs there. Cod can show there at times but this year has been quiet so far. The only other down side to the pier is limited space if there is more than two anglers fishing from the main wall.

Day or night doesn't matter when bass fishing Tramore. Vary your casting distance until you find the Bass . A decent surf is required for good results. . . . No one is going to tell you exactly when and where they are feeding ( unless you have some really sound mates ) So get out there and fish !
